We are uniquely the first and only company to have been granted an IPPC permit by the Environment Agency to operate a mercury recycling service in Surrey. This prestigious accreditation is vital for any company undertaking the recycling of toxic lamp powder and mercury waste.

At ELR Ltd. we are proud to have achieved these credentials. A great deal of work went into developing our business to meet the stringent requirements set by the Environmental Agency for these accreditations. But having achieved it, we are mindful of the responsibility that comes with it and we do not rest on our laurels. We continually strive to improve our operation and we welcome all forms of feedback from every part of the industry, most importantly from our customers. Without input from you we would not be ‘Enlightened’.

We are also registered under the Control of Pollution (Amendment) Act of 1989 as Licensed Waste Carriers and Brokers (EAN/944858/CB) and under the WEEE Regulations 2006 as an Approved Authorised Treatment Facility (AATF) (WEE/EF0005ZT/ATF).
